High-Shrink FLAVORSEAL® Cook-In Bags Offer Superior Shrink Rates, Increasing Product Yields

FLAVORSEAL Shrink Bags feature a multilayer structure with the highest shrink rate in the industry. This structure provides a “second skin” that reduces purge during the cooking process, thus increasing product yield, and produces a uniform product shape that allows for more even cooking.

CMS’s Post Pasteurization Shrink Bags are ideally suited for ready-to-eat deli products like roast beef, turkey breasts, and hams. Post Pasteurization bags withstand the rigors of extreme temperatures – 210º for up to 10 minutes — making them ideally suited for processors using the pasteurization process to help kill surface bacteria.

CMS shrink bags include FLAVORSEAL Cook-In-Strip bags — with strong heat seals made to withstand high cooking temperatures and yet strip off easily in one piece — and Cook-In-Ship bags that feature an EVOH barrier for extended shelf life. Cooking and shipping in the same bag reduces the likelihood of introducing any contaminants to the product, eliminating the need for secondary handling and thus increasing food safety. The Cook-In-Ship bags offer superior shrink that provides a tight, smooth appearance with no “dog ears,” making it appealing for retail display with the durability to withstand the rigors of shipping and consumer handling.
