April 10, 2008—FLAVORSEAL® Tight Weave Netting from CMS (Carroll Manufacturing and Sales) helps eliminate surface tears and thus reduces costly product rejects for both boneless and bone-in cooked or smoked meats and poultry products. FLAVORSEAL Tight Weave Netting will not cook into the meat and peels off cleanly for greater yields and better eye appeal.

With the best forming, shaping and color transfer properties in the industry, FLAVORSEAL Tight Weave netting is the ideal for achieving attractive, natural, consistent shapes in boneless meats.  For bone-in meats, FLAVORSEAL Tight Weave Netting increases the number of center slices while the fixed circumference controls the diameter of the ham.

The bags provide complete puncture protection - from edge to edge - without patches.  FLAVORSEAL's high-abuse material greatly reduces leaker rates as well as the number of re-packs needed, and eliminates the labor needed to apply patches, soaker pads and bone disks - thus improving the processor's bottom line.  The bag also offers better barrier properties than thos of conventional bone-in meat packaging, thus extending product shelf life.

FLAVORSEAL Tight Weave Netting is available in four patterns, honeycomb, ribbed, diamond, or smooth. and four colors, black forest, mahogany, golden or traditional (russet).  The netting is available presoaked with release agents, with liquid smokes, or with a combination of both.
